We offer prepainted steels in Coils, Strips and Sheets. The product is one which is continuously coated with an organic paint or laminated film on a steel strip.
Material is degreased and chemically treated to improve anti-corrosion properties and then coated uniformly in a wide range of colours and gloss levels to enhance its formability and durability.
Specifications / Finishes
- PLASTISOL
Plastisol has excellent resistance to corrosion. The most common applications are for roofing, wall cladding and flashings/rainwater goods. 200 micron thick coating gives excellent properties for being and handling. 100 micron coatings are for internal applications or act as corrosion inhibitors.
- PVDF (PFV2)
PVDF is particularly suitable for demanding outdoor applications. It has excellent resistance to corrosion and fading. It is typically used on sheet walls, roof casettes, and sandwich panels. It is ideally suited for seamed roofing.
- POLYESTER
Polyester is available in various types and can be modified for different applications according to the required degree of resistance to weathering and corrosion or forming properties.
Because of its good formability and resistance to wear and tear, polyester is commonly used in the metalworking and food processing industries.
- PVC-FILM
PVC films are available in a wide range of thickness according to the specification required for the project. Food safe and fire resistant films are also available.
The most common applications are refrigerated rooms, display cabinets and shelving.
- PROTECTIVE FILM
Coatings can be supplied with mill applied self adhesive film for protection during transport and site handling. Film thickness varies between 50 - 100 microns and should be removed immediately after installation.
